FAQs

  • I do not accept insurance and am considered an out-of-network provider. However, I’m happy to provide the necessary paperwork (superbills) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

  • I review fees during the complimentary consultation call so we can talk through your family’s needs and ensure my services are a good fit. This way, you’ll have a clear sense of costs before getting started and can feel informed and comfortable moving forward.

  • Yes. In accordance with the No Surprises Act, you can request a Good Faith Estimate of the expected costs for services. If requested, I will provide this estimate in writing before we begin so you have a clear understanding of potential fees. Please keep in mind this is only an estimate—your actual costs may vary depending on the length and number of sessions we decide together are most appropriate.

  • Yes, I currently welcome families for in-person sessions in Springfield, New Jersey. I also provide telehealth services to residents of New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Florida. If you are located in NYC, I am available on the Upper West Side of Manhattan through Manhattan Psychology Group.

  • I work with young children through teenagers, as well as parents. Depending on your family’s needs, I may work directly with your child, with you as the parent, or with both (together or separately). My services include therapy and parent coaching approaches that are tailored to different developmental stages, so we can find the right fit for your child and family.

  • The first step is to fill out the contact form on my website. I’ll then reach out to schedule a complimentary 20-minute consultation call to learn more about your needs and see if we’re a good fit.

  • We’ll start with a 60-minute parent intake session to learn about your child and family’s needs. Next, I typically meet for either a family observation session or an individual session with your child. This is usually followed by a parent feedback session. This sequence helps me to fully understand your child’s strengths and challenges and collaborate with you on the best treatment approach. Session length may vary slightly depending on your family’s needs and the type of treatment we pursue.

  • I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform to protect your privacy. For the best experience, I recommend finding a quiet, private space and using a computer or tablet with a reliable internet connection. Headphones can be helpful for comfort and focus, but they’re not required.

For family observation and PCIT sessions, I’ll send you clear instructions ahead of time on how to set up your technology, arrange your space, and prepare any needed equipment (such as headphones or a second device). This way, we can make sure everything runs smoothly and you feel confident before the session begins.

  • I am not able to provide emergency services. If you or your child are in crisis, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), dial 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. If you are outside the U.S., please call your local emergency number.
